Living Wills

A Living Will is a document that specifies the medical care you would like to receive in the future if you become incapacitated and unable to communicate your wishes to your health care providers. A Living Will is important if you would like to receive, and stop receiving, medical treatment in accordance with your advance wishes.

  Durable Powers of Attorney

A Durable Power of Attorney is similar to a Living Will. However, rather specifying treatment you would like to receive, a Durable Power of Attorney authorizes a person you trust to make decisions regarding your health care for you if become incapacitated. The Law Offices of Richard McAndrew would be happy to provide a free consultation to discuss your legal options regarding your preferences for future medical treatment.
